The Deason Move

Can I be the first to say it...well I'm not the first and I'm super happy, but... I GRADUATED COLLEGE!!!!!! 

It is crazy to think that 4 years of my life flew by so quickly! I am now graduated from BYU-Idaho with a Bachelor's in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. I am absolutely thrilled! The support I have had from family and friends throughout this journey has been incredible. And I can't forget about my awesome husband who has been there supporting me while his education has been put on hold. 





Although Brennen's education has been put on hold, it no longer is so! We have moved across the country to a little town called Rockton, Illinois (where I am originally from back in the high school days of my life). Brennen is going to start attending Rock Valley College in the fall and work towards becoming a nurse. We are super excited for this change and so far are loving it! Everything seems to be falling into place for us and I am super happy to be done with school and to support Brennen as he goes forward in his education. He is just the best husband ever and I absolutely love him. 
Anyways, our journey has just begun and we couldn't be more thrilled. We drove across the country and if you want to know more about our journey watch the youtube video below. May 12, 2015 When you aren’t looking, that’s when it usually happens. Life is definitely no fairy tale, nor did I ever expect it to be, but when I met Brennen I finally felt like fairy tales could really become reality tales.  We were both attending BYU-Idaho when we met. Our apartments hung out towards the end of the spring semester, and we sort of just kept talking over the summer. I was back in Illinois and he was in Nampa working. We never expected much to come out of it. When I came back out to school in September, Brennen took multiple trips up to Rexburg to see me every other weekend, sometimes every weekend. I thought it was insane. Who would spend that much money in gas to come see me for two days out of the week? My cousin, Jordan, had emailed me previously at the beginning of the semester (he is serving his mission in England) predicting that I would “find a husbandman this semester”. 35 weeks and large!

I am almost 35 weeks now and can I just say....I am ready to be done! Maybe it is the constant breathlessness... Maybe it is the fact that he kicks me at the wrong times....I mean I love feeling him move...but at 3am? Maybe it is the hormones that are just now emerging...Seriously though I haven't been very hormonal until now. Maybe it is just the sore muscles...The way I tell Brennen what hurts is like this, "Everything hurts...but _____ hurts a little more." I have loved being pregnant for the most part, but as they say...the third trimester is not the easiest. I am excited to meet this baby! My anxiety has peeked, as have the nerves, but the excitement keeps going up! In just a few weeks, this baby will be out and I will be able to sleep how I want! Not necessarily when I want...but I will be able to roll over and that sounds fantastic right about now.
