Thursday Evening

Thursday night I sent this guy off to go learn how to save the world. Well, that’s how I like to put it.

Brennen is heading to California for pre-deployment training. That does not mean he will get deployed, but it makes them eligible to be deployed if they need to be. There is a ton more training that goes into it if he does end up having to leave. This guy makes me so proud to be his wife. Everything he does for me and for others always manages to leave me speechless. I got lucky when I found this man. He means the world to me and is my life. I wouldn’t be who I am today without him, that’s for sure. This next month without him by my side will be hard and different. I was just getting used to living with him, but I am so excited for him to come home already. I am so proud of him.
Thursday evening was when he left and we decided that called for pizza and a Friends marathon…one last time. He had to get his fix in 😉

May 12, 2015 When you aren’t looking, that’s when it usually happens. Life is definitely no fairy tale, nor did I ever expect it to be, but when I met Brennen I finally felt like fairy tales could really become reality tales.  We were both attending BYU-Idaho when we met. Our apartments hung out towards the end of the spring semester, and we sort of just kept talking over the summer. I was back in Illinois and he was in Nampa working. We never expected much to come out of it. When I came back out to school in September, Brennen took multiple trips up to Rexburg to see me every other weekend, sometimes every weekend. I thought it was insane. Who would spend that much money in gas to come see me for two days out of the week? 35 weeks and large!

I am almost 35 weeks now and can I just say....I am ready to be done! Maybe it is the constant breathlessness... Maybe it is the fact that he kicks me at the wrong times....I mean I love feeling him move...but at 3am? Maybe it is the hormones that are just now emerging...Seriously though I haven't been very hormonal until now. Maybe it is just the sore muscles...The way I tell Brennen what hurts is like this, "Everything hurts...but _____ hurts a little more." I have loved being pregnant for the most part, but as they say...the third trimester is not the easiest. I am excited to meet this baby! My anxiety has peeked, as have the nerves, but the excitement keeps going up! In just a few weeks, this baby will be out and I will be able to sleep how I want! Not necessarily when I want...but I will be able to roll over and that sounds fantastic right about now.
